We are Freedom Coffee - roasting locally in Borough Green and selling single-origin coffee beans which can be ground upon request for the perfect home brew. Freedom Coffee is a nano-roastery based in Borough Green, on a mission to disrupt the coffee industry for the better.
We focus on transparency and ethical sourcing that gives back to both farmers and communities, with a portion of profits donated to our charitable partner (IMPACT) with every sale.
Our long-term ambition is to support the most innovative, sustainable solutions for coffee farming. By forming direct partnerships, we aim to profit-share more effectively, reduce farmer poverty, and collaborate on cutting-edge farming methods — especially as climate change continues to threaten global coffee production.
While most people choose their coffee based on brand or roast level, coffee actually contains more than double the aromatic compounds of wine — yet it's rarely treated with the same care or curiosity.
At the same time, 12.5 million smallholder farmers produce around 60% of the world's coffee, but 44% of them still live below the poverty line. Freedom Coffee wants to change that.
We're making it easy for anyone to enjoy coffee — the drink they consume every day — like a fine wine.
