About White Mills Farm Shop

Farming brothers Gary, Stephen and Vernon opened their first farm shop in January 1997. Their aim was to offer fresh, quality produce grown on our nearby farm, at competitive prices. Trade grew quickly and with our increasing popularity we were able to widen our range to include many local quality products.

Background

Originally the business supplied local wholesalers, independent shops and stalls in Spitalfields Market, London. As supermarkets began to take even more of the market share it became obvious that a change of direction was needed and in 1997 it was decided to take on the White Mill Farm Shop to grow and sell direct to the public without having to withstand the fluctuating prices on the London Markets.

After a slow start the White Mill Farm Shop began to get a good reputation, somewhere you could go and buy the best quality produce at very reasonable prices.

Product Description

Our farm runs to 300 acres of owned and rented land. Cropping is 150 acres of cereals, 90 acres of veg and 60 acres of potatoes.
In the shop we offer fresh, quality produce grown on our nearby farm, at competitive prices including:-.
Cheeses. Honey. Apple and Other Juices, Meats, Bakery items and more
We strive to ensure that our products are sourced locally where possible and always with quality our priority.
